Common questions about SSL errors and certificate troubleshooting.

What types of SSL certificates do you work with?

We work with Let’s Encrypt certificates issued by your hosting provider, Cloudflare’s free SSL, and third party certificates including wildcard and multi domain (SAN) certificates. The right type depends on your client’s setup and how many domains or subdomains need to be covered.

Will my client’s site go down during SSL work?

No. SSL fixes do not require taking a site offline. We diagnose and resolve the issue while the site stays live. The only moment where a visitor might briefly see a warning is if there is a propagation delay after switching from HTTP to HTTPS, which typically resolves within minutes.

Can you fix mixed content warnings?

Yes. Mixed content happens when a page loads over HTTPS but some resources such as images, scripts, or stylesheets are still referenced over HTTP. We find and update those references, configure forced HTTPS redirects, and verify the padlock is clean before closing the session.

What if my client’s SSL keeps expiring on its own?

Auto-renewal failures are usually caused by a misconfigured hosting setup, a DNS change that broke the certificate validation path, or a conflict with Cloudflare’s proxy. We diagnose the root cause, not just reissue the certificate, so the problem does not come back next time it is due to renew.

Do you handle wildcard or multi domain certificates?

Yes. Wildcard certificates cover all subdomains under a single domain and require DNS validation. Multi domain certificates cover several different domains on one certificate. Both involve more steps than a standard single-domain cert and may be priced as a 1-hour session depending on complexity.

How an SSL support session works

Share hosting access and Cloudflare access if applicable Hosting panel login (cPanel, Kinsta, etc.) and Cloudflare access for the domain if it is proxied through Cloudflare. Tell us what error the browser is showing.

We diagnose and fix the SSL issue We identify whether the issue is an expired certificate, a renewal failure, a mixed content problem, or an SSL mode conflict between the host and Cloudflare. We fix the actual cause, not just the symptom.

We verify the padlock is green on all pages before closing HTTPS confirmed loading on the homepage and key interior pages. Mixed content errors cleared. No certificate warnings. We do not close until the browser shows a clean padlock.
