Who this is for

Web designers and agencies moving client WordPress sites between hosts with zero tolerance for downtime or lost data.

Client is moving to a better host and you do not want to risk downtime
Migrations done wrong mean a client site going down during business hours. We stage the site on the new host, lower TTLs ahead of time, and execute the DNS cutover with no gap.
You took over a client from another developer and need to move their site
Inherited sites on hosts you don’t control need to move before you can manage them properly. We handle the full migration including any DNS and email coordination involved.
Client is upgrading from shared hosting to a managed WordPress host
Managed hosts like Kinsta, WP Engine, and Cloudways have their own import processes and caching layers. We handle the migration correctly for the destination environment.
A previous migration attempt left redirects broken or the site unstable
Botched migrations leave behind broken redirects, missing images, or database connection errors that are hard to diagnose after the fact. We identify what went wrong and fix it cleanly.
Client is moving to a new host AND needs Cloudflare set up at the same time
Coordinating a host migration with a Cloudflare setup in the same DNS cutover window requires careful staging. We handle both together so nothing breaks in the transition. See also: Cloudflare support.
Client site needs to move but live email cannot be disrupted
Site migrations that require DNS changes put live email at risk if the MX records are not handled correctly. We coordinate the DNS cutover so the site moves and email stays live. See also: DNS support.

Everything handled from file transfer to go-live.

We move the full site, manage the DNS cutover, and verify everything is working before we close the session. Your client never knows anything happened.

Full WordPress Migration
Files, database, media library, and all configuration moved completely to the new host.
Zero-Downtime Cutover*
We test everything on the new host before updating DNS so your client never sees downtime.
Cross-Host Experience
We migrate between all major hosts including WP Engine, Kinsta, SiteGround, Flywheel, Bluehost, Cloudways, and more.
DNS Cutover Management
We handle the DNS update and monitor propagation to make sure traffic lands on the new server cleanly.
SSL Certificate Setup
HTTPS set up and verified on the new host before launch so there are no certificate warnings after the switch.
Redirect Preservation
Existing redirects ported to the new environment so SEO rankings and user bookmarks stay intact.
Plugin and Theme Compatibility
We check for host-specific issues and resolve conflicts before cutover.
Post Migration Verification
Full site check after go-live including forms, email, media, and any third party integrations.
Email Continuity
MX records and email DNS are preserved and verified during the cutover so your client's email keeps working without interruption.

* Zero downtime is our goal on every migration. Some hosts handle DNS, propagation, and configuration differently, which can occasionally cause a brief window of downtime during cutover that is outside our control.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our white label website migration service.

Will my client’s site be down during the migration?
Not usually. We lower the TTL first and then test everything on the new host before touching DNS. Once we confirm the site is fully functional on the new server, we update the DNS records and verify the cutover. The total visible downtime for visitors is typically zero to a few minutes during propagation.
What do you need from me to get started?
Access to the current hosting account, access to the new hosting account, and domain registrar or DNS access for the cutover. If the domain is on Cloudflare, that makes the DNS change even faster.
Do you handle the DNS cutover as part of the migration?
Yes. DNS cutover is included. We update the records, monitor propagation, and verify the site is resolving correctly on the new host before ending the session. We do not hand you a migrated site and leave the DNS work to you.
What if something breaks after the site goes live on the new host?
We do a full post launch check before closing the session including forms, email, media files, and any third party integrations. If something surfaces after the session ends, submit a ticket and we will take a look. Our goal is that you never have to call us back about the same migration.
Does this cover ecommerce, multisite, or membership sites?
This service is designed for standard WordPress websites. WooCommerce stores, WordPress multisite networks, and membership sites with complex user data or licensing integrations are outside the scope of this service. If you are unsure whether your site qualifies, submit a ticket before booking and we will let you know.
How long does a typical migration take?
Most single-site migrations are completed in one session. The time depends on the size of the site, the database, and whether email is involved. We scope it before starting so you know what to expect. Migrations with email cutover or multiple domains take longer and may require a 1-hour session.

How a site migration works

Share access to both the current and destination host Current host login (cPanel, SFTP, etc.) and destination host login. Tell us the domain, the CMS, and whether there is active email on the domain that cannot go down.
We stage, test, and execute the cutover We copy files and database to the new host, confirm the site works on the new server before touching DNS, lower TTLs, then execute the cutover. Email continuity is coordinated throughout.
We verify the live site before closing Site loading on the new host confirmed, redirects working, no broken images, forms submitting, email still flowing. We do not close until the migration is fully confirmed.

Move your client's site without the stress.

We have handled hundreds of site migrations and never lost a database. Book a session and let us do the heavy lifting.
