Common questions about DNS support, propagation, and how we work.

How long does DNS propagation take after a change?

Most DNS changes propagate within a few minutes to a few hours. TTL (time to live) settings on the existing records determine how long caches hold onto the old values. We set TTLs appropriately before making changes to minimize the wait, and we verify propagation before ending the session.

Can you work with any domain registrar?

Yes. We work across all major registrars including GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, Cloudflare Registrar, Network Solutions, Name.com, and others. If you can get us access or walk through changes together on a screen share, we can work with it.

Will DNS changes cause downtime for my client’s site?

Properly made DNS changes should not cause downtime. We lower TTLs ahead of time, stage changes carefully, and verify each record before and after. The only unavoidable window is the propagation delay, and we work to minimize that.

What if the domain is locked or we can’t find the registrar login?

We help with this regularly. We can usually identify the registrar from the domain’s WHOIS record, walk you through account recovery, or work around lock issues depending on what needs to change. Share what you know and we will figure out the rest.

Can you handle both registrar-level DNS and Cloudflare DNS at the same time?

Yes. Many setups involve both: nameservers pointing at Cloudflare at the registrar level, and DNS records managed inside Cloudflare. We handle both sides in the same session so everything is consistent and nothing is left pointing in the wrong direction.
