Scope of Services
What we cover, how sessions work, and what falls outside our standard offerings.
These terms apply to services provided by Laris Holdings, LLC, doing business as Web Agency Hero ("Web Agency Hero," "we," "us," or "our"). By booking or using any of our services, you agree to the terms set out on this page.
How Our Services Work
We offer flat-rate sessions booked directly through our scheduling system. Each session is focused on a specific task or problem. If your request is straightforward, we will resolve it in a single session. If it turns out to be more complex, we will let you know upfront before any additional time is billed.
All requests are subject to approval. If we determine a request falls outside our scope, we will tell you before we begin and point you in the right direction.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare setup, configuration, and troubleshooting is one of our core specialties. We cover:
- DNS setup, migration, and troubleshooting
- SSL configuration and certificate errors
- WAF rules, firewall policies, and bot management
- Caching rules and performance tuning
- Cloudflare Free, Pro, and Business plan setup
- DNS recovery when prior records are unknown or lost
- Cloudflare Workers and Pages configuration
- Redirect rules and Page Rules
- Cloudflare Email Routing
- Zero Trust and Access policies (basic configuration)
DNS
We work across all major registrars and DNS providers, not just Cloudflare. Services include:
- DNS record setup, auditing, and cleanup
- Nameserver transfers and propagation troubleshooting
- Domain pointing and subdomain configuration
- SPF, DKIM, and DMARC record setup and validation
- MX record configuration for any email provider
- DNSSEC configuration
We specialize in getting email working correctly and reliably. This includes:
- SPF, DKIM, and DMARC setup and troubleshooting
- Diagnosing emails going to spam
- Google Workspace setup and configuration
- Microsoft 365 setup and configuration
- Email DNS record audits
- DMARC monitoring setup for agencies
- Deliverability troubleshooting
Email Migration
We handle migrations to Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. A standard email migration includes:
- Pre-migration DNS audit
- MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC setup at the destination
- Cutover coordination to minimize downtime
- Post-migration deliverability check
Migrations involving a large number of mailboxes or complex setups may require a custom quote.
Site Migration
A standard site migration includes moving the site files and database to a new host, DNS cutover, and a post-launch check. We also offer a combined Site Migration and Cloudflare setup in a single session. The following are included in a standard migration:
- File and database transfer to the new host
- DNS cutover with minimal downtime
- SSL verification at the new host
- Post-launch functionality check
- Redirect setup for URL changes if needed
Migrating multiple sites or sites with complex custom configurations may require a custom quote.
WordPress
We support WordPress websites across a wide range of issues:
- White screen of death and PHP errors
- Plugin conflicts and broken updates
- Site speed and performance issues
- WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates
- Caching plugin configuration
- SSL errors and mixed content issues
- Redirect issues and broken links
- Login issues and admin access recovery
- General troubleshooting and consulting
We do not support WordPress.com hosted sites or WordPress multisite installations. We do not perform malware removal or hacked site recovery.
Troubleshooting Sessions
If your issue does not fit a specific service, you can book a general troubleshooting session. We offer two options: a 30-minute session at $57 or a one-hour session at $97. If we cannot resolve your issue within the session, we will explain what additional steps are needed and provide options.
Services Requiring a Custom Quote
The following fall outside our standard session pricing. Contact us for a quote before booking.
- New website design or builds
- Custom plugin or theme development
- Minor CSS, PHP, or JavaScript troubleshooting may be included at our discretion. New custom development or larger code changes require a custom quote.
- WooCommerce custom development or conflict resolution
- SEO services, link building, or paid marketing
- Migrations involving more than two sites
- Email migrations with large numbers of mailboxes
- Making a site mobile responsive from scratch
- Tasks that reasonably exceed the time or complexity of a standard session
What We Do Not Cover
- Malware removal or hacked site recovery
- Purchasing or registering new domains (we can assist with transferring a domain between registrars)
- Content creation, copywriting, or editing page content
- Paid advertising, Google Ads, social media management, or any marketing services
- Hosting provider infrastructure issues beyond our control
- Third-party software bugs that require the vendor to issue a fix
- Acting as your designated representative for third-party vendor support unless specifically agreed to in writing
- Sites hosted on WordPress.com
- WordPress multisite installations
- Increasing site traffic or search rankings
- Adding individual products to eCommerce stores
- Sites containing explicit content
Support Hours
Support hours are 9am to 5pm ET, Monday through Friday, excluding federal public holidays and designated Web Agency Hero holidays. Sessions booked outside these hours may be rescheduled.
Remote Access
Some troubleshooting, migrations, and related services may require remote access to your computer, hosting panel, or third-party accounts. If remote access is required and cannot be provided, we may be unable to complete the service. The session fee is still due if the inability to provide access prevents completion of the work.
Rush and Emergency Requests
Same-day or emergency requests are handled based on availability and are not guaranteed unless explicitly confirmed by Web Agency Hero in writing.
DNS and Email Propagation
DNS changes, nameserver updates, DNSSEC changes, and email authentication updates may take time to propagate globally. Web Agency Hero is not responsible for delays caused by DNS propagation, TTL caching, or remote resolver behavior. Our work is considered complete once the correct configuration has been applied, regardless of propagation status at the time of the session.
Scope Creep
Services are limited to the specific task or issue booked. Additional requests or problems discovered during a session may require a separate booking.
Stalled or Abandoned Sessions
If required access, credentials, approvals, or responses are not provided within 7 days of a session, the service may be considered abandoned. A new booking may be required to resume work and the original session fee is non-refundable.
Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information, necessary credentials, and any access required for us to complete the work. You confirm that you own or are authorized to access all domains, hosting accounts, email systems, and third-party platforms submitted for service. If incomplete or incorrect information is provided and prevents us from completing a session, the session fee is still due.
Backups
You are responsible for maintaining a current backup of your website, database, email, and any other data before any session begins. We may create a backup during a session at our discretion, but we do not store, manage, or guarantee the availability of any backup after the session ends. Web Agency Hero is not responsible for data loss of any kind, including loss that occurs during or after a migration, update, configuration change, or any other service we perform. We strongly recommend verifying your backup is complete and restorable before your session starts.
No Guarantee of Results
We will make every effort to resolve your issue using our best professional judgment and available tools. However, Web Agency Hero does not guarantee a specific outcome for any service. Some issues are affected by factors outside our control, including third-party platform behavior, hosting environment limitations, email provider policies, and domain propagation timelines. A completed session where our work was performed in good faith is not grounds for a refund if the result does not meet your expectations.
Third-Party Platforms
Many of our services involve configuring or troubleshooting third-party platforms including Cloudflare, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, WordPress, and various hosting providers. Web Agency Hero is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these companies. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, pricing changes, feature removals, or any other actions taken by third-party platforms that affect your service or the results of our work.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a session may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the session price. No-shows without prior notice are non-refundable. If Web Agency Hero needs to cancel a session, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Web Agency Hero's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific session giving rise to the claim. Web Agency Hero is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, lost data, loss of business, or downtime, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is brought.
Payment
All services are paid in advance before work begins. By booking a session, you authorize Web Agency Hero to charge your payment method for the service selected. Prices are subject to change at any time. Taxes are applied where required based on your billing address.
Refunds
Refund eligibility is based on whether the agreed service was substantially performed, not solely on whether the final outcome matched your expectations. If professional troubleshooting, diagnosis, migration work, or configuration services were substantially carried out, the service may be considered fulfilled even if the underlying issue depends on a third party, a hosting environment, or factors outside our control. If we are unable to begin or meaningfully perform the agreed service, we will issue a full refund. If a session was cancelled on our end before work began, you will receive a full refund or we will reschedule at your preference.
Right to Refuse Service
Web Agency Hero reserves the right to deny or cancel service to any client at any time for any reason. If a request is outside our scope, we will communicate that before any work begins.
